With our new Nashville office officially open, we're excited to introduce the new Vanick team members that will be joining us in the Music City.
Nashville, Tenn. — Vanick Digital (www.vanick.com) has announced six new hires in the Nashville market, according to company founder Jim Van de Vuurst.
Vanick is a full-service digital and web solution company that focuses on automating and integrating its clients’ IT and marketing operations. The company is based in Memphis, Tennessee and announced the opening of its Nashville office in June of this year.
“To have already acquired six professionals of this caliber after one month of operation in Nashville is very exciting,” said Van de Vuurst.
“We see a great deal of potential in Middle Tennessee and look forward to continued growth opportunities.”
The Nashville Vanick team includes the following professionals:
Matt Nigh is a Project Manager and will oversee client service and project delivery. Prior to joining Vanick, Matt served as a Project Coordinator and Build Manager with Franklin American Mortgage Company (FAMC). He began his IT career with Nashville-Based startup, Consensus Point. Matt is currently obtaining his Masters in Information Systems from Northwestern University.
Curtis Hickman is a Project Manager and will oversee client service and project delivery. Hickman has more than 18 years of experience in core IT disciplines applied to the delivery of software application and infrastructure projects for business solutions. He previously held positions in project management, serving as a Senior Project Manager delivering a variety of technology based solutions for leading international companies. He obtained the Project Management Professional, PMP, certification from the Project Management Institute organization for professional development. Hickman is a graduate of the University of Florida.
Gaines Kergosien is a Senior Solutions Architect and will oversee solution design and delivery. For the past 12 years, Gaines has provided consulting services for companies such as Deloitte, Hospital Corporation of America (HCA), American General (AIG), Lexis Nexis, Gibson Guitars, and Cardinal Healthcare. Gaines is a board member for the Nashville .NET User Group, the INETA Mentor for TN and speaks at software development conferences throughout the United States.
Jeremy Reed is a Business Analyst with Vanick and will assist in streamlining the company's internal requirements gathering and analysis processes. Prior to joining Vanick, Jeremy served as a Technical Writer at Franklin American Mortgage Company (FAMC) and later as an IT Business Analyst where he was charged with gathering and analysis of the company's Corporate Compliance and Enterprise Risk groups with the focus of satisfying all industry regulations. Jeremy attended Kalamazoo College in Kalamazoo, MI for undergraduate studies with a major in French language and translation.
Dale Thomas is the Systems Engineering Manager at Vanick Digital where he oversees the entire systems engineering practice. Prior to joining Vanick, Dale worked at Volkswagen Group of America, Chattanooga Operations, L.L.C., FedEx Services. With more than 18 years of IT Infrastructure experience, Dale has been involved with complete data center migrations, installations of new data centers, systems engineering and architecture design of both Windows and Red Hat system, network design, and virtualization implementations with VMWare, XEN, and Hyper-V. Dale also holds a current Red Hat certification. Dale holds a B.S. in Computer Science and Information Systems from Austin Peay.
Donna Cozart Blair is a Project Manager and will oversee client service and delivery. Donna has over 24 years of progressive experience working on technology projects for Insurance, Manufacturing, Banking, Military/Government, Consulting and Retail Systems. She has 19 years of successfully leading all phases of technology projects as a Senior Project Manager. Donna is a graduate of Saint Augustine’s College, in Raleigh North Carolina.
From a product standpoint, Vanick provides website design and development, mobile and web-based application development, software development and support, and consultation on digital strategy.
