NETWORK 1 LOOKS TO PROPEL SALES AND CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIPS WITH TOTUS

Network 1 will use the Web-based service to manage customer relationships and sales promotion tactics. “We were looking to grow our business through sales and Totus is an ideal way for us to do that,” explains Network 1 Project Coordinator Cesar Soto.

“In the past, Network 1 relied mainly on direct personal contact. Their growth precludes continuing that process going forward,” notes Totus President Jim Van de Vuurst. “Totus allows them to use electronic tools to both automate and keep the communications personal.”

“The cool thing is that our customers get information catered to them: if they want a letter, they get a letter; if they’re more receptive to e-mail they can get that. The fact that it is specifically addressed to each individual in a large database is powerful,” says Soto.

Even the President of Network 1, Tim Cordray, anticipates benefiting from Totus: “This system allows me to personally keep in touch with valued customers much more often – that’s important,” he says.

Beyond helping to manage relationships, the company intends to use Totus to increase sales. According to Eden Lacoste, Director of Sales and Marketing, “It’s like having our own marketing department. The Totus product will give us the ability to communicate to both new sales prospects and existing customers with new products or services, and do it very fast and effectively – that is key in our industry.”

“We can continue to have a personal touch, but with a much broader audience. We’ll be able to get the right message to the right person in the right format very easily,” concludes Lacoste.
