DLS was founded in 1995 at Memphis Tennessee. Since its founding DLS has realized consistent growth by providing superior service and by organizing one of the finest transportation management teams in the nation. Poised for additional growth, DLS is continually expanding its network of agents and account executives.

In 2002, DLS business was rapidly growing and, with that, they were outgrowing their technical infrastructure.

Vanick Group was there to recommend, design and implement the following critical systems components:

• Upgraded server running their business- critical Freight Management software from Windows SQLServer Version 6 to SQLServer 2000.
• Installed a new server running Windows 2000 and Windows Terminal Server to provide remote access for freight brokers.
• Implemented a VPN and firewall.
• Developed a Web Site that provided marketing information as well as provided the ability for customers to check "Proof of Delivery" and Carriers to check "Status of Payment" in real-time.
• Redesigned and implemented all Network Security.
